19 Weeks

Baby is the size of a mango and weighs 8 1/2 ounces.

Names and bedding have been a lot harder than I expected, but we're getting there.

I can't wait for Thursday when we get to see this sweet baby and find out 100% the gender! I can't wait to see what she looks like!

18 weeks

I guess I should update about week 18 since I'm in my 19th week. The picture from the gender reveal will have to do for the 18th week!

It was a long week! Cosmo (our dog) threw up on Monday, Molly threw up on Tuesday and was running a fever, Todd started throwing up on Wednesday. Needless to say, I wanted to go somewhere far far away!
I just walked around with Lysol all week and our washer and dryer worked over time! Then Todd had to play music for 80's night at the Dixie Friday night so we went to that. Saturday morning, we did the gender reveal party, then Saturday night, we headed to Shreveport for Katie & Allin's wedding shower. Sunday after church I crashed, I think I slept for a solid 4 hours that afternoon!

I had my doctors appt on Thursday morning to find out the gender and poor Todd couldn't even get out of bed, so I got my doctor to put the gender in an envelope so we could find out together! It took him a whole to get a good picture because the baby was so active! The nurse said the baby was literally jumping around, oh geez, we have our hands full already! As the doctor was walking out, he said he was 90% sure, but not to take off any tags! I couldn't wait to get home! We opened the envelope and pulled out the ultrasound picture with the words at the bottom that said probably GIRL! I love that he wrote it in pink :-) We both just looked at each other and smiled! Todd said well, I guess we need to start saving for a wedding and get a gun :-). This little girl is going to have us wrapped around her little finger!

Baby's heart rate was 158 and baby was the size of a sweet potato at 18 weeks.

It's a........

Girl!
We are so excited about having a daughter and cannot wait to meet her!

We did a gender reveal party Saturday morning and it was so much fun! We didn't tell anyone until that day and it was so fun to see everybody try to guess the gender and their faces. Most people guessed a boy. I just ordered baby girl some shoes and socks, so fun shopping for a girl!

17 Weeks!

Baby is the size of my palm and weighs about 5 ounces.

I started feeling the baby move on Friday. It felt like thumps if that makes any sense. I'm pretty sure he/she is practicing their acrobatics in there.

We can't wait for Thursday to hopefully find out what we're having! Then we have to keep it a secret until our gender reveal on Saturday.

I'm interested to find out how much weight I've gained considering last appt I was down a total of 12lbs since the beginning (oh the joys of morning sickness). I feel like this week my belly has really started to pop out!

I hope to update Saturday with the gender :-)

Our little miracle!

Introducing Baby Whitlock

We are so excited and thankful that god has blessed us with this precious miracle! Baby Whitlock is due March 14th and we hope to find out the gender next Thursday!
I want to be honest on this blog and share so that i can be reminded of how good our God is! God is continuing to remind me to have faith in him and his timing. We were starting to go through some fertility testing and the results were not what we had hoped for. We were waiting on another test to confirm some results. I was suppose to have the test in June, but they were not able to that month, so we were to wait until July. Beginning of July, we went to new York for our anniversary and decided to take a pregnancy test totally thinking it would be negative (o ye of little faith, huh?). To both our surprise, it (and the 5 other tests we took, ha) were positive! We were overwhelmed, shocked, ecstatic, and scared all at the same time! We are so so so grateful for this blessing!!! We couldn't wait to tell our families!

This is how we told our immediate family. They were so excited and shocked too, I wish I would have caught their expressions on camera, it was truly priceless!
